Marshmallow and Chocolate

This treat is one the kids will love. Even the big kids. It’s a bit on the sweet side so not something you want to serve very often. It’s great for a special occasion. The ingredients used make it taste just like an old fashioned malt with a little extra pizazz.

Ingredients:

1 cup vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup cold milk
2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
2 tablespoons marshmallow topping
1 tablespoons malted milk powder
3/4 cup crunchy peanut butter

Directions:

1. Place the ice cream and milk into the blender.
2. Pulse a couple of times until ingredients are slightly blended.
3. Add the chocolate syrup, marshmallow topping and malted milk powder.
4. Using a rubber spatula, add the peanut butter.
5. Blend until just smooth.

Note: You can even add whip cream and a maraschino cherry to add some extra specialness to it.

Delightfully Lemon

If you like lemon this is for you. Even kids like this recipe. It’s another recipe that can be served on a hot summer day to leave you feeling nice and refreshed.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups watermelon, seeded and cut into chunks
1 cup lemon sherbet
1 tablespoon lemon juice
10 ice cubes

Directions:

1. Place the watermelon in a Vita Mix blender.
2. Add the lemon sherbet and lemon juice.
3. Place the ice cubes on top.
4. Cover and blend until smooth.

Note: Mix it up a little. Not fond of lemon? Try lime sherbet and lime juice instead.
