Cherry Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 cup yogurt (any flavor)
1 cup cherries (pitted)
1 cup strawberries (or 1 banana or 1 orange)
1/2 cup milk
1 cup ice cubes

Directions:

Place all ingredients in a Vita-Mix blender.

Blend on high until desired consistency has been reached.

Banana Yogurt Smoothie

Do you have picky kids that won’t eat yogurt? Here’s a great way to serve them yogurt without them even knowing!

Ingredients:

1 banana
1 cup strawberry-banana yogurt
1 cup milk
1/2 cup ice cubes

Directions:

Place all ingredients in a Vita-Mix blender.

Blend on high until smooth.

Pour into serving glasses.

Mocha Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups ice
1 cup soymilk
3/4 cup bananas
1/4 cup chocolate syrup
1/3 cup tofu
2 teaspoons instant coffee

Directions:

In a Vita-Mix blender add all ingredients.

Blend on high until smooth or desired consistency is reached.

Strawberry Ice Smoothie

Serving Size: 2

Ingredients:

1 cup strawberries
2 cups milk
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 1/2 cups ice

Directions:

In a Vita-Mix blender add ice first and crush as much of it as you can.

Add the rest of the ingredients.

Blend on high for 1 minute or until smooth.

Note: If you want a low-fat version of this use low-fat yogurt & low-fat milk.

Grape Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 cup green grapes (seedless)
2 cups red grapes (seedless)
1/2 cup grape juice

Directions:

1. Add all ingredients into a Vita-Mix blender.

2. Blend on high until smooth.

Ban-Go Smoothie

This recipe got its name because the ingredients call for bananas and mangoes. It may have a silly name but this recipe is low in calories (150) and packed full of vitamins and minerals!

Ingredients:

1 mango, peeled and sliced
2 bananas (frozen and ripe)
10 ounces orange juice
1 cup fat free vanilla yogurt

Directions:

1. Cut banana into chunks.

2. In a vita-Mix blender combine all ingredients.

3. Blend on high until smooth or desired consistency is reached.

4. If the smoothie is too thick for your liking add more orange juice to give it more liquid (if you’re counting calories keep an eye on how much more you are adding)

Kale Smoothie

Ingredients:

5 leafs of kale
2 bananas
2 tablespoons hemp seed
2.5 cups water
1 bag frozen blueberries

Directions:

Place all ingredients into a Vita-Mix blender.

Add liquid (water) and make sure all ingredients are covered.

Blend on high until smooth.
