Tofu And Strawberries Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 cup soft Tofu
1/2 cup strawberries
1/2 cup soy milk
1/2 a banana
1/2 cup soy yogurt

Directions:

In a Vita-Mix blender blend the tofu, soy milk, yogurt, half the strawberries, and banana just until smooth.

Now add the remaining strawberries and blend until desired consistency is reached.

Ice Cream Soy Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 large peach (pitted)
1 banana
1/2 cup strawberries
1/2 cup soy milk
1/2 cup soy ice cream

Directions:

Blend the banana with the soy milk on high speed for 1 minute. Add the soy ice cream, strawberries, and peach and continue blending for an additional 30 seconds. Smoothie should be smooth and creamy with small peach and strawberrie pieces.

Soy Fruit Smoothie

If you prefer soy milk over regular here’s a recipe just for you.

Ingredients:

1 banana
1/2 cup strawberries
1/2 cup raspberries
1/2 cup cherries (pitted)
1 cup of soy milk
1/2 cup soy yogurt

Directions:

Place all ingredients into a Vita-Mix blender.

Blend until smooth.

Vanilla Peach Smoothie

Ingredients:

4 large strawberries
1/2 cup canned peaches
1 cup vanilla ice cream
1 1/2 cups vanilla yogurt
1 cup milk
6 maraschino cherries

Directions:

Place all ingredients into a Vita-Mix blender.

Blend on high until smooth.

Three Berries Smoothie

Ingredients:

1/2 cup raspberries
1 cup blackberries
2 cups strawberries
1 cup yogurt (any flavor)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
15-20 ice cubes

Directions:

Place all ingredients in a Vita-Mix blender and blend until thick and icy.

Hawaiian Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 cup milk
1 tablespoon pina coloda mix
1 handful strawberries
1 or 2 slices pineapple
1 slice of seedless watermelon
1/4 cup sugar
10 ice cubes

Directions:

Place all ingredients into a Vita-Mix blender.

Replace lid and make sure it’s securely in place.

Blend on high for 3 minutes or until desired consistency is reached.

Peach Pear Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 pear, peeled, cored and chopped
1 peach sliced
7 ounces strawberries, frozen and slightly thawed
lime (few squeezes)

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a Vita-Mix blender.

Blend on high until smooth.

Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Cherry Raspberry Smoothie

Ingredients:

2 cups frozen cherries
2 cups frozen raspberries
2 cups frozen vanilla yogurt
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a Vita-Mix blender.

Blend on high until smooth or desired consistency is reached.

Pour into 4 glasses and serve.

Note: You can make a low-fat version of this by using low-fat yogurt, low-fat milk, unsweetened fruit.

Banana Berry Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 Banana
1/4 cup frozen blueberries
2 tablespoons pineapple orange juice
8 ounces vanilla yogurt
10 ice cubes

Directions:

Place all ingredients into a Vita-Mix blender.

Blend on high until smooth.

Very Berry Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 cup blueberries
1 1/2 pints strawberries
1/3 cup fat-free plain yogurt
1/2 cup lemon yogurt
1/3 cup sugar

Instructions:

1. Arrange the fruit on a jelly roll pan lined with waxed paper and freeze until firm.

2. Place all ingredients in a Vita-Mix blender and blend on high until smooth.
