Raspberry Cheesecake Smoothie

Ingredients:

3 ounces apple-raspberry juice concentrate (frozen)
3 ounces cream cheese
3 ounces ice (crushed)
1 ounce apple juice
1 sprig fresh mint (for garnish) (optional)
maraschino cherry (for garnish)
whipped cream (for garnish)

Directions:

In a Vita-Mix blender add all the ingredients except for the mint, cherry and whipped cream.

Blend on high until smooth.

Pour into a tall glass and top with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry.

Garnish with a fresh sprig of mint, if you wish.

The Red Smoothie

Ingredients:

1/2 cup cranberry juice
1 cup strawberry yogurt
1 cup raspberries
1 1/2 cups strawberries, quartered (frozen)

Directions:

In a Vita-Mix blender add the cranberry juice and yogurt.

Now add the raspberries and strawberries.

Blend on high until smooth or desired consistency is reached.

Winter Time Smoothie

Ingredients:

1/2 cup cranberry juice
1/2 cup orange juice
1 banana

Directions:

Place all ingredients in a Vita-Mix blender.

Blend on high until smooth.

Pour into a glass (tall one) and serve immediately.

Banana and Cinnamon Christmas Smoothie

You may not want to drink this smoothie until after you’ve had your Christmas meal. It’s very filling and if you drink too much you won’t have room for your regular meal.

Ingredients:

whole milk – 2 pints
eggs – 6
sugar – 50 grams (caster sugar)
vanilla pod – 1
bananas – 2
cranberries (optional)
cinnamon (for garnishment)

Directions:

Over low heat cook the first 4 ingredients (whole milk, eggs, sugar and vanilla pod); while cooking stir with a wooden spoon. Be sure to stir constantly and do not let the mixture boil (it will ruin the nog).

Let the nog cool then add two bananas or a handful of cranberries and smoothe in a Vita-Mix blender.

To serve pour into a glass and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Peanut Butter Sundae Smoothie Recipe

Have you ever added peanut butter to your bowl of vanilla ice cream? If so here’s a smoothie you’ll love. This smoothie is a little different though – no blending required!

Ingredients:

1/4 cup smooth peanut butter
2 tablespoons honey
1/3 cup milk
3 cups vanilla ice milk
1/4 teaspoon wheat germ

Directions:

In a small pan add peanut butter, honey and milk. Stir together.

Cook over low heat (be sure to stir constanty).

Remove from heat when peanut butter has melted all the way; add the ice, milk and wheat germ and stir together.

Non-Alcoholic Fuzzy Navel Banana Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

2 medium bananas quartered
1 pint orange sorbet
1 cup Mandarin Tangerine juice

Directions:

In a Vita-Mix blender add the bananas, sorbet and juice.

On high blend until thick and smooth.

Note: You can add orange slices as a garnishment if you wish.

The Purple Smoothie

Ingredients:

8 tablespoons frozen grape juice concentrate
2 cups vanilla ice cream
1 cup of milk
1 cup of ice

Directions:

In a Vita-Mix blender add all ingredients.

Blend on high until smooth.

Chocoberry Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 cup raspberries (frozen)
1 scoop chocolate whey powder
1/2 cup strawberries (frozen)
raspberry Crystal Light (to taste)

Directions:

In a Vita-Mix blender add whey powder and frozen berries.

Add Crystal Light until berries are covered.

Blend on high until desired consistency is reached.

Note: To add more flavor add more Crystal Light.

Rock N Roll Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 banana
2 cups strawberries (frozen)
1 container (8 ounces) strawberry yogurt
3/4 cup milk

Directions:

Peel the banana and cut into chunks.

In a Vita-Mix blender add the banana chunks, strawberries, yogurt and milk. Blend on high until smooth.

Serve immediately.

Orange Pineapple Holiday Smoothie

Ingredients:

2 1/2 cups orange juice
2 1/2 cups pineapple juice
1 banana
3/4 cup yogurt (plain)
3 tablespoons honey
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
orange slice (for garnish)
cinnamon (for garnish)
2 ice cube trays (for freezing some pineapple and orange juice)

Directions:

In 1 ice cube tray, fill it with pineapple juice and the other 1 with orange juice. Freeze.

In a Vita-Mix blender add the yogurt, banana (peeled and halved), honey and cinnamon. On high blend until smooth and then transfer to a measuring cup and set aside.

In the Vita-Mix blender add the remaining pineapple juice and pineapple ice cubes. Blend on high until smooth. Divide the mixture among 4 glasses, top with the yogurt mixture and place in the freezer.

Now blend the orange juice and orange juice ice cubes until smooth.

Remove the 4 glasses from the freezer and top each glass with the orange slushy mixture.

To Garnish, sprinkle cinnamon on top and add an orange slice.

Serve immediately.
