Greek Yogurt Smoothie Recipe

Some people say that they don’t like the texture of Greek yogurt as it tends to be thicker than other yogurt. When you add it to a smoothie, you won’t get the texture because it will be blended with everything else.

This recipe makes 1 serving

Ingredients:

1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 cup blueberries
4 large strawberries
1/3 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon honey (more of less depending on how sweet you want the taste to be)

Directions:

In a Vita-Mix blender, add all the ingredients and blend on high until smooth.

Serve immediately.

Banana, Spinach and Strawberry Smoothie

This recipe makes 1 serving

Ingredients:

1 cup water
2 cups spinach
1 banana
4 large strawberries

Directions:

In a Vita-Mix blender, add all ingredients and blend on high for one minute or until desired consistency is reached.

Peanut Butter Breakfast Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 large banana
2 tablespoons peanut butter
1 cup milk
1 cup ice (optional)

Directions:

In a Vita-Mix blender, add all ingredients and blend on high until smooth. You blend ingredients together in blender with ice if you like. It makes a very filling breakfast smoothie that keeps me full well until lunch. I don’t get that with cereal.

Banana, Strawberry and Avocado Smoothie

Avocados are full of nutrients including fiber and potassium just to name a few. Adding them to a smoothie are a great way to add them to your diet.

Ingredients:

2 cups orange juice
2 bananas
1 avocado
1 cup strawberries
1 cup strawberry sherbet
1 cup ice

Place all ingredients in a Vita-Mix blender and blend on high for up to one minute or until desired consistency is reached.

Mint Cherry Smoothie Recipe

1 1/2 cups frozen cherries, pitted
1/2 cup orange peach mango juice
8 mint leaves

Strawberry Jello Smoothie Recipe

Here’s a great tasting low calorie smoothie recipe you can enjoy any time of the year.

Ingredients:
(makes 2 large serving sized glasses or 4 small serving sized glasses)

1 small package sugar-free strawberry jello
1/2 cup boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
1 cup crushed ice
1 1/2 cups fat-free cool whip

Directions:

In a Vita-Mix blender, mix boiling water and jello until dissolved.

Combine cold water with ice.

Add cool whip to mixture in blender until smooth.

Serve immediately.

Fruity Soy Smoothie
