Chocolate Marshmallow Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 cup vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
2 tablespoons marshmallow topping
1 tablespoon malted milk powder
3/4 cup crunchy peanut butter

Directions:

In a Vita-Mix blender put the ice cream and milk and pulse a couple of times to just slightly blend.

Now add chocolate syrup, marshmallow topping, malted milk powder and the peanut butter.

Blend until just smooth.

Note: You can add whip topping and a maraschino cherry on top for garnishment if you would like.

Apple and Carmel Smoothie

This recipe tastes just as good as a caramel apple!

Ingredients:

1 apple, peeled, cored and diced
1/4 cup Carmel ice cream topping
1/8 cup chocolate syrup
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup milk
8 ice cubes

Directions:

In a Vita-Mix blender add the caramel ice cream topping and chocolate syrup.

Now add the apples.

Pour in the milk.

Sprinkle with cinnamon.

Add the ice cubes to the top.

Blend on high for one minute or until smooth.

Ice Cream Social Smoothie

Ok this isn’t really an ice cream social but this yummy recipe does call for ice cream and is sure to be a hit with the kids!

Ingredients:

2 cups apple cider
2 cups ice cream (vanilla)
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:

In a Vita-Mix blender, add the vanilla ice cream.

Now add the apple cider, nutmeg, honey and cinnamon.

Blend until smooth.

Thanksgiving Smoothie

It’s that time of year again – time for all things pumpkin flavored! Here’s a yummy smoothie flavored with lots of pumpkin.

Ingredients:

1/4 cup pumpkin
1 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 banana, peeled and sliced
2 tablespoons maple syrup
4 ice cubes

Directions:

In a Vita-Mix blender put banana and pumpkin.

Now add milk and pie spice followed by the maple syrup.

Add the ice cubes.

Blend on high until smooth.

Bewitched Smoothie

Here’s another recipe just in time for Halloween!

This recipe makes 2 servings

Ingredients:

2 cups vanilla ice cream
2 cups apple cider
2 tablespoons honey
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
food coloring

Directions:

In a Vita-Mix blender combine all ingredients.

Blend until smooth.

Add any color combination of food coloring depending on how gross or cute you want it to look! (Orange, green, purple, etc.)

Halloween Orange Smoothie Recipe

Are you having a Halloween get together for your kids with a few of their friends? Need something spooktacular to serve? Then this recipe is for you.

Just keep in mind that the ingredients listed are for one serving only so depending on how many kids you need to serve you’ll need more than what’s listed below.

Ingredients:

1 cup milk
1 Orange
2 cups frozen orange sherbet
Variety of candy corn
Finely crushed Oreos

Directions:

1. Peel orange and place in Vita-Mix blender.
2. Now add orange sherbet and milk.
3. Blend on high until smooth or desired consistency is reached.
4. Pour into Halloween cups (you can usually find some little plastic ones in with all the Halloween decorations/things)
5. Garnish with oreos (crushed) and candy corn.

Halloween Orange Surprise Smoothie

Halloween is right around the corner. Here’s a fun recipe you can serve up.

Ingredients:

2 cups vanilla yogurt (frozen)
4 cups orange sherbet
Gummy Worms
Oreos (make sure they are finely crushed)

Directions:

In a Vita-Mix blender, add orange sherbet and vanilla yogurt and blend for a minute or so. (Just until mixed and smooth)

Pour into glasses. (If you have Halloween cups use those)

Garnish with gummy worms and oreos. (for different variations see below)

Try This: Add the gummy worms to the smoothie and stir in instead of adding them to the top of the smoothie as garnishment. Then garnish with the Oreos. Or have a few of the gummy worms hanging over the side of the glass.

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

If you love pumpkin pie I found this great smoothie recipe that really hits the spot. It’s thick, delicious and oh so yummy.

Serves 1, Approx. 270 calories

Ingredients:

1/2 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 frozen banana
3/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoon vanilla brown rice protein powder
1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tbsp. coconut oil
1 tsp. chia seeds
2 drops of liquid stevia
2 ice cubes (optional)

Directions:

In a Vita- Mix blender, blend all ingredients until smooth.

Banana Malted Smoothie

You don’t have to leave the comfort of your home to ‘take a trip’ to the local malt shop. In fact not only is this recipe made from the comfort of your home it’s probably a lot more healthy than if you were having something at the ‘real’ malt shop.

This recipe makes 2 servings, 1 cup each

Ingredients:

1 ripe medium banana, peeled and sliced
1 cup low-fat milk
1/4 cup malted-milk powder (Ovaltine or Carnation)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon brown sugar
4 ice cubes, crushed

Directions:

In a Vita-Mix blender combine milk, banana, malted-milk powder, brown sugar, vanilla and ice cubes. Blend until frothy.

Serve immediately.

Chocolate Berry Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 cup raspberries (frozen berries work best)
1/2 cup strawberries (frozen berries work best)
1 scoop chocolate whey powder
Crystal Light – raspberry flavored (to taste)

Directions:

1. Add whey powder and frozen berries to Vita-Mix blender.

2. Add Crystal Light until berries are covered.

3. Replace lid and make sure it’s securely in place.

4. Blend on high until mixed well.

5. Taste and if desired add more crystal light.
