Berry and Cornflakes Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 cup blueberries
1 banana
1 cup soy milk
3/4 cup corn flakes

Directions

In a Vita-mix blender add all the ingredients and blend on high for 30 seconds. Take a spatula and scrape the sides of the blender. Blend o high for another 20-30 seconds.

Blackberry Soy Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 liter soy milk
3 tablespoons sugar (or sugar substitute)
1 cup blackberries

Directions:

In a Vita-Mix blender, place all ingredients and blend on high for one minute or until smooth.

Protein Grapefruit Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

1/3 cup egg whites
3/4 cup 100% Ruby Red Grapefruit juice
6 ounces vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup ice

Apple and Kale Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

3/4 cup kale (chopped; make sure stem removed first before chopping)
1 celery stalk
1 banana
1/2 cup apple juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
ice cubes

Directions:

Place all ingredients in a Vita-Mix blender. Blend on high until smooth.

Kale Smoothie

Kale is a wonderful vegetable to add to a smoothie as it’s rich in vitamins and nutrients. It’s full of fiber, calcium, vitamin A…just to name a few.

This recipe makes 4 servings

Ingredients:

12 ounces apple juice
4 large kale leaves (make sure you remove the stems)
3 large bananas
2 cups of ice

Directions:

In a Vita-Mix blender add the apple juice and kale. Blend on high until the kale is is thoroughly blended.

Add the bananas and ice and blend on high until desired consistency is reached.

Banana Chai Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 cup water
1 chai teabag
1/2 cup milk or soy milk
1 frozen or fresh banana, cut into chunks
Pinch of cinnamon
Pinch of ground ginger
2 to 3 ice cubes

Directions:

Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan. Add the teabag, turn off the heat, and steep for 3 to 5 minutes, until the tea is strongly brewed. Squeeze out the teabag and discard it.

Pour the brewed tea into a blender, and add the milk, bananas, and spices. Puree until smooth. Add the ice cubes and blend just until the ice is crushed. Pour into a glass, sprinkle with additional cinnamon or ginger if desired, and enjoy!

Non Dairy Green Tea Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 cup brewed green tea (chilled)
1 large banana
1 large peach, sliced and pitted
3/4 cup ice cubes
2 tablespoons honey

Directions:

In a Vita-Mix blender add the green tea, banana, peach and ice cubes. Blend on high for 30 seconds.

Add the honey and blend until smooth.

Soy Ice Cream Smoothie Recipe

If you eat a soy diet this recipe is for you.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup strawberries
1 banana
1 large peach, sliced and pitted
1/2 cup soy milk
1/2 cup soy ice cream

Directions:

In a Vita-Mix blender, add the banana and soy milk. Blend on high for one minute.

Add the ice cream, strawberries, and peach. Blend on high for one minute or until desired consistency is reached.

Fruit Tofu Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

1/3 cup apple juice
1/2 cup tofu (drained)
1 cup berries (any kind)
1 large banana
1 small container strawberry yogurt (or any fruit flavor)
1 tablespoon honey
5 ice cubes

Directions:

In a Vita-Mix blender, add the apple juice, tofu, yogurt, berries, banana and honey. Blend for 30 seconds.

Add the ice cubes and blend on high until smooth.

Berry Blast with Sherbet Smoothie Recipe

1 cup apple juice
1 1/2 cups lemonade
1 cup frozen raspberries

Now add the raspberries, strawberries and sherbet.
